Ahaituki Kripa.
Causeless mercy's breath divine
Over loves ocean wide and deep
Blows breezes, mingling and combines
To scent the lotus of your feet.
Like rainshowers on a fire falling
My broken heart your mercies mend,
Oh take me where my heart is calling!
Here Master, there my bosom friend.
Your mercy's glance an arrow fired
From deep compassion's endless store,
It wounds my heart with hope, inspired
And weeping now I pray for more.
Thus wounded caught in mercy's trap
With love and kindness tightly bound,
A doe upon a hunter's lap
Her safety and true peace has found.
Your mercy, gentle more than moon
The tide of love within me wakes,
Hope whispers that I'll see you soon
Though my heart in separation breaks.
Oh, I'm drowning in the ocean of
My heart's own deep responsive swell
Oh Moon of Mercy! Moon of Love!
In moonlit groves your secrets tell!
Your mercy than the sun more bright,
More life restoring and more dear,
My heart's horizon washed with light
As dawns your presence ever near.
By loving touch this glorious sun
Unfolds the lotus of desire,
All weary darkness turns to run
As fire divine enkindles fire.
On mercy's wings so flies my heart
An orphan gathered to your breast
By mercy's smile sweet moods impart
As by your hand my head is blessed.
Now in your presence, by your grace,
Unworthy yet with hope and trust,
I gaze at last upon your face
And give my life in your foot dust.
