Dear Radha-Krishna Prema,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Sri Guru and Gauranga!

I have just read the Radha-Krishna Prema article on the Vaisnava News Network - VNN. I think that it is a terrific idea that there is a magazine like this available and also that you can advertise it publicly on the internet. I am writing because I would like to subscribe to the magazine. You did not mention whether there is a subscription cost or whether it is distributed free of charge. Also, I may possibly be able to collect some addresses of other interested devotees. Back issues, if available, appreciated.

readers name witheld

We have very limited stocks of back issues, which we will distribute on request amongst any new subscribers.

Dear Radha-Krishna Prema,

We are in LA. and attend the Watseka temple every Sunday. We have never had any problems with the devotees and don't expect any confrontation in the Future. However, if we do you will be the first to be informed. We are proud to be in your association and will give assistance whenever possible. Please feel free to request whenever needed. We have time but Laxmi is out of the question at this time. We have just purchased GURUDEVA.COM for the sole purpose of making Bhaktivedanta Swami Narayana Maharaja the Internet Guru. Please help us make our dream a reality.

Very truly yours, an eternal servant of Krishna,

Gaurakisore dasa Maharaja dasa Babaji.

This sounds very wonderful.. Let's expand our databases of transcribed lectures. We will be very happy to receive any material you have and will happily share whatever resources are available to us.

Dear Radha-Krishna Prema,  All glories.! I am responding to your call. I live and work in NYC. Where can I obtain a copy of your publication? I am interested in contributing. Perhaps expanding upon themes addressed in the VNN editorial "To All Devotees of the Lord"*. I also arrange my humble words in poetry and free forms. Most of all, my passion lies in the expansion of the bhakti movement throughout the world. I actively support forces and communities whose primary focus is service and devotion. Living in NYC, a number of us grapple with the practice of ahimsa and a vegan lifestyle.

Your publication and website outline strongly support non-institutionalized expansion of spiritual consciousness and the unification of all devotees. Jai! Jai! Thus I await your reply on how I can be of service.

Sai Ram Sasha, one of many humble servants

*We haven't seen this article. Please send us a copy.

We place a great deal of emphasis on individual expression and receive and publish many very inspiring and powerful personal stories, poems, offerings, articles, etc. We believe in sharing personal feelings and insights in devotional life as a very potent means of drawing our family closer together and building real, meaningful relationships based on love and trust.

We try to reconcile the apparently contradictory concept of giving all our love at the lotus feet of Sri Guru and treating our godbrothers and godsisters with genuine love and affection in this way; By gathering up all the fractions of our love and offering everything with faith at the lotus feet of the pure, maha-bhagavat Vaishnava guru we can distribute a little of the unlimited love that pours out of his heart to others, free from the sense of wanting or needing anything in return. Thereby we can be ekantika, single-pointed, in our love whilst at the same time distributing love to others, without entanglement.

We are very neophyte, not claiming to have attained such an ideal state, but this realisation has come about within the context of our recent community-building efforts and sharing sessions here in England. We would be very happy to hear any feedback - this has been somewhat revolutionary in transforming our lives and relationships over here, even in our early stages of developing love.

Keep writing!

Radhe, Radhe!

Dear Radha-Krishna Prema,

Gaura Haribol!

What is this?

Radha-Krishna Prema is the ultimate goal of life, as you know. Our humble publication is simply to engage our minds in sweet hari-katha and to share what we have heard with other devotees.

Since 1992?

"Krishna Prema" was the even more humble precursor, potato-printed onto single-ply kitchen tissue, before most devotees outside India had even begun to contemplate the notion that raganuga-bhakti in the mood of the Vrajavasis and Gaudiya Vaisnavism are one and the same thing. Radha-Krishna Prema now has the technology, the hardware, the software and the juiciest, sweet hari-katha, but remains a little constrained by budget to yet venture into full-colour printing. We do however consider that the value of the content far outweighs the limited merits of its current, low-budget appearance. And all our subscribers are very happy with what they receive.

Is it online?

Not yet, but soon to be...

.or paper?"

20 prema-packed pages in black & white, and expanding.

How do I subscribe?

Dear Radha-Krishna Prema,

Hare Krishna!

We just heard about your Radha Krishna Prema magazine and we were very inspired. We are a little sadhu-sanga, called Temple of the Heart with a most loving Guru as our head. His name is Gaurahari dasa and he is transcendentally situated in spontaneous loving service to Lord Chaitanya, His associates and Lord Gauranga's mission. He started teaching students one and a half years ago, after many years of preparation. We are recording all of his classes, either by audio or video and we are also transcribing many of them into books. He is writing a lot of poetry that will also soon be a book. Presently we have a little centre here in Los Angeles where we gather together daily, starting five a'clock in the mornings with a long program including darshan, kirtan and lecture. In the evenings we also have a shorter program. Three evenings a week inquisitive people are coming over to learn about Krishna consciousness from Gaurahari dasa, who presents it in a very nice and easily understandable way for people in the West. He is very well aware of Westerners' need to express their real feelings in order to be receptive to the eternal truth. In this way he is able to unblock what is in the way for people to receive the rarest gift of divine love. In this mood, we at Temple of the Heart would like to present the fruits of Gaurahari dasa's teachings for the benefit of the Vaishnava community. We are sending some samples of Gaurahari dasa's transcribed classes and poetry along with some photos.

Your servant,

Premanidhi dasi from Temple of the Heart

Thank you for your very encouraging response. Radha-Krishna Prema is dedicated to our beloved spiritual masters Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja, Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja and all previous, present and future acaryas and Vaisnavas.

Please tell us a little more about Gaurahari dasa. We are very eager to present Radha-Krishna Prema as an offering for the pleasure of Hari, Guru and Vaishnavas and are always pleased to glorify the words and teachings of all acaryas in the Gaudiya Vaishnava line.

We understand hearing hari-katha from the lotus mouth of a pure, rasika Vaishnava, who is himself fully realised as an eternal resident of Vraja and who is personally giving us his full shelter and affection, is the single and only means of attaining krsna-prema.

Thank you again for your very kind letter and heartfelt offer and we look forward to hearing more from you again very soon.

Dear Radha-Krishna Prema,

Dandavats and pranams.

Is the content of Radha-Krishna Prema strictly a positive, filled with nectar publication?

That is our number one priority.

Or is it fashioned in the same context as ........?

We have no interest in who has murdered, maimed, maligned or molested whomever else, beyond extending our heartfelt personal sympathy to the unfortunate victims.

We do stand strongly against bogus activity, apasiddhanta and aparadha, but under no circumstances do we intend to make any kind of personal, ad-hominem criticism or judgement against any Vaishnava or Vaishnava institution, knowing full well that we would not only depress our readers, but bring calamity upon our own heads also. We like to follow a policy of trying to fill our readers' hearts with positive, pure hari-katha which is certain to displace negativity as a secondary effect. We are for building community, not destroying.

The only "political" issue has been legal threats issued as a result of quoting from Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's books. Also the "heretical" suggestion that the original spirit of Srila Prabhupada's movement ("Iskcon As It Is") is being carried forward by his first and foremost disciple, Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja - entirely outside the control and jurisdiction of the official institutional managers - caused a somewhat heated response. The truth hurts - but we stand by that which is self-evident. Anyway, apologies for any disturbances were made and we opted to simply concentrate on distributing sweet hari-katha and helping to build meaningful, personal relationships within the worldwide Gaudiya Vaishnava community.

We are considering the possibility of a second, more "news and views" oriented magazine to address issues of the day which affect all of us, but which may not neccessarily pertain to the goal of attaining our eternal service at the lotus feet of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna Yugala-Kishora. One example is the "earth-changes" issue, which seems to be causing widespread panic and actually undermining the faith of some devotees.
